FAQ
An electric fence system is a perimeter security solution designed to discourage intrusion and provide an additional protective layer around site boundaries.
Yes. Electric fences are often more effective when paired with CCTV and alert-related systems so perimeter events can be reviewed and responded to quickly.
Electric fencing can be useful for residences, compounds, business premises and sites where perimeter control is a priority.
Yes. Electric fences are legal in Malaysia for residential and commercial use when installed in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) requirements. Mandatory warning signs must be posted at regular intervals. NEXT IN™ installs to the applicable electrical safety code.
Coverage depends on the energiser output and number of fence wires. A standard residential energiser (1–2 joule) is typically sufficient for 200–500 metres of single-wire perimeter. Larger industrial sites with multi-wire configurations require higher-output energisers. NEXT IN™ specifies the correct energiser size during the site assessment.
Yes. The energiser's alarm output can be connected to a siren, alert panel or monitoring station. When planned together with CCTV, a perimeter breach triggers both the alarm and CCTV recording so events can be reviewed immediately. NEXT IN™ integrates fence, CCTV and alarm systems under a single project scope.
